Mukesh Ambani is dreaming of sending fiber broadband to India through Jio Fiber. The Jio Fiber service has not yet been launched in 2018, although it announced the service. Mukesh Ambani said that in the last 12 months, more than 1.5 billion customers from 1600 cities across the country have applied for Jio Fiber connection. After launch, the company is aiming to reach Jio Fiber connection in two crore households and 1.5 million offices across the country. Jio Fiber will provide live television, gaming, mixed reality, and landline services to Jio Fiber customers with 1Gbps broadband connection.

Reliance Group chief Mukesh Ambani said at the company's annual general meeting on August 12 that the Jio Fiber plan will be reported across the country on September 5. Various plans for fiber broadband can be used between Rs 700 and Rs 10,000 per month. Mukesh Ambani said, "There will be a plan for all budgets." He added that customers will get a land phone with Jio GigaFiber. The phone can be called for free from any network across the country.

He also said that this phone can be made at the lowest cost of international calls. Ambani said that services like Netflix and Hotstar Premium will be available for free with the Jio Fiber plan. Customers will be able to watch at home the day a movie is released with a higher price plan. Internet usage can be lost at 1Gbps speed at 100 Mbps. Customers will get a 4K set-top box with Jio Fiber connection. This set-top box will show live TV and on-demand content.

Jio Fiber customers will get a free postpaid SIM with a connection. From that SIM card, there will be benefits like data sharing international roaming. The pricing for this service will be announced on 5 September.

A 4k set-top box will be available free of charge for one-year subscription at launch.

It will also join hands with Microsoft to create Edge computing and virtual reality content. The company aims to make Fiber the largest broadband network in the world within the next 12 months.
