Another process will run on Wednesday
Vikram will touch the south pole of the moon on September 7 at 9.15am
Lander Bikram (Vikram) was successfully disbanded from Chandrayaan 2 on Monday. It moved closer to the moon on Tuesday. ISRO said the first process to 'de-boost' Vikram was completed this morning at 1.3. The process will run once more on Wednesday. In this way, the landing process will begin once Bikram is removed from the orbit.

Vikram will touch the south pole of the moon on September 5 at 5 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be witness to that historic moment in the space agency's office. According to the ISRO website, a four-second process was completed at 1.35am on Tuesday. The orbit of Vikram is said to be 5 km x 1220 km. Orbiter and Lander are both in good condition.
Where Vikram is on the moon is still unknown. In most cases, spacecraft are sent from Earth to the north of the moon or to the equator.

Earlier, two missions to China and Russia had landed in the north of the Moon. Most US vehicles have a lunar eclipse in the equatorial region of the moon. Right now there is a rover of China on the dark side of the moon.

If the mission of Chandrayaan-2 is successful, India, America, and Russia will be the fourth country after China to land on the moon.

The craters or cavities of the moon's south pole have not received sunlight for billions of years. It is said that in the darkness of Dhaka, there is 5 million tonnes of water in this province. Other countries, like Chandrayaan-2, are planning to land at the southern pole of the moon, ISRO said.
